Traditional Food

In the world there is a great variety of food which can distinguish a country in different ways. In this case I will tell you about 4 unique dishes from the Country of Ecuador.


1.- The Ecuadorian Barbecue

The Ecuadorian churrasco is a typical dish that consists of grilled or fried meat, accompanied by a fried egg, French fries, ripe plantains, pickled onion and tomato, avocado and chili.

2.- Ecuadorian Green Bolon

The Ecuadorian Green Bolon is a typical dish from the Ecuadorian coast, it is generally considered an ideal dish for breakfast, but it can also be served as an appetizer or side dish.

3.- Ecuadorian Fish Encocado

The encocado is a typical dish of Ecuadorian gastronomy, especially from the province of Esmeraldas. It is one of the most recognized typical dishes. Its name is due to the fact that the main ingredient to prepare it is coconut.

4.- Fish Soup wiht Onions

The encebollado whose generic meaning is food seasoned with a lot of onion and seasoned with spices, is also a typical Ecuadorian dish originating in the coastal region. It is considered the flagship dish of Ecuadorian gastronomy.


Conclusion

The typical food of Ecuador is wonderful, they are quite good in flavor and in knowing how to give a good culinary experience and, although Ecuador is a small country, it has a wide variety of food. Thank you very much for your attention.

Tourist Guayaquil

Tourist places are those that can define a country, canton, region, etc. That is why I have come here to talk to you about 4 tourist places in my country, Ecuador.


1.- Malecon 2000

Malecón 2000, located in the city of Guayaquil, next to the Guayas River, is an urban regeneration project of the old Malecón Simón Bolívar, 2.5 km long where you can enjoy many attractions of the place.


2.- The Seminar Park

The Seminar park also known as Bolivar Park or Iguanas Park is a small and traditional public urban park located in the strong rock sector in the center of the city of Guayaquil. It was originally the Main Square of the colonial city, but over time it lost that character.


3.- The Saman Park

Samanes Park, also known as Samanes Ecological Park, is a park located in the city of Guayaquil, Ecuador, whose first phase was inaugurated in January 2010.


4.- Museum of anthropology and contemporary art

The Anthropological and Contemporary Art Museum, better known by its acronym MAAC, is a museum in the city of Guayaquil, Ecuador. This museum exhibits art and culture from Ecuador, Latin America and the Pre-Columbian Ages.


Conclusion

The tourist places of Ecuador are quite entertaining, interesting and pleasant and it shows that in each one of them it carries the Ecuadorian spirit, Thank you very much for your attention.


Legends of Ecuador

Legends are old stories that have been passed from generation to generation, many of the countries of the world have their own legends, that's why I've come to talk to you about 2 urban legends of the country of Ecuador.


1.- Cantuña and his pact with the devil 

It is said that in colonial times, an Indian named Cantuña undertook to build the atrium of the church of San Francisco. One night, before the stipulated deadline, desperate Cantuña agreed with the devil to finish the work before dawn. As payment, he would give her his soul.


2.- The Tamarind Widow

This legend comes from the story of a Manabi woman who murdered her Spanish husband. The homicide committed condemned the soul of the widow, and she was cursed and confined to wander near a tamarind tree on a hacienda in Quinta Pareja, crying eternally for the memory of her husband.


       

Conclusion

The legends that come from my country, Ecuador, are some of the most interesting and well-known in the world, not to mention that they are quite peculiar. Due to lack of time, I will only talk about these 2. Thank you for your attention.
